What better way to preserve your memories than with videos?

Winston Productions provides high end video production services for weddings, television commercials, municipal documentaries, corporate presentations, political campaigns, educational videos, instructional videos, gospel videos, musical videos and assemblage of video portfolios.  Winston Productions, in conjunction with Winston Web World, Inc.'s other photographic departments, which includes its still image photography division, its image conversions division, and its audio/sound division, provides a complete photographic solution.  Our normal service coverage area includes the entire area of Georgia known as "West Georgia".  However, we are currently, or have in times past been, booked as far away as Panama City Beach, Florida for a wedding and Pensacola, Florida for a documentary video capture.

We recognize the fact that numerous types of events do not allow for "re-takes" and therefore must be captured on the first attempt.  An example of the typical "one-shot" event would be a wedding because very few couples would be in favor of repeating the ceremony.  In order to ensure the complete capture of your events; Winston Productions offers several video packages.  We utilize cameras from industry leaders such as Canon, Sony and Panasonic.  Our main cameras are the, Canon XL-1S and two Canon XL-2s, each of these cameras are broadcast quality with three CCDs.   All three of our primary Canon cameras have been equipped with digital hard drives thereby allowing direct digital recordation.  We also utilize two Sony digital camcorders, equipped with digital hard drives for area captures and high elevation captures.  Utilization of digital hard drives help to eliminate the common failure of tape and the frequency of video head failure.  On numerous occasions; three cameras are utilized to simultaneously capture the main part of the ceremony, wireless audio receivers are commonly attached to each of these primary cameras in order to insure simultaneous capture of the audio and video.  We have, in times past, also captured the audio portion (vows) via a wireless receiver and a laptop computer, thereby providing four capturing devices.  Additional cameras are commonly, strategically, located in order to capture such events as the couple exiting the chapel, entering the reception area and capturing the events at the place of departure.  Having numerous cameras capturing various aspects of the wedding allows for a complete production because it is physically impossible for a camera operator to always have the ability to move through the crowd of people and be ahead of the bride and groom.  Particular cameras may capture hours of coverage in order to be ready for a three minute event, but without this preparation the memories would be lost forever.  We are fully aware of the fact that we can not include or edit footage that was not captured.

During Winston Productions' editing process the data from each camera will be retrieved and transferred onto computers which are equipped with premium video cards, digital video software, audio editing software and which are attached to thirty two inch, high definition, monitors.  The combination of premium hardware and software enables the editors to view collected images and to view shadows and images which are not visible with lesser equipment.   The preferred video segments, any desired still images, background music, audio segments and titles are inserted into the presentation and burned onto a minus R (-R) formatted DVD.  All of Winston Productions' captures are in 16:9 (commonly known as “Widescreen”) format.  When the event is captured in 16:9 it allows for full image exposure even though we can, and do, offer the production in 4:3 (currently majority of televisions).
